This pipe has been carved out of a manzanita tree branch that had died from old age and was going to be used for firewood. 
Measures 5" Long X 1 1/4" Wide X 3/4" Thick.
Features a 3/4" bowl @ 3/8" deep that has been hand burned to burn off the natural resins for a clean and natural smoke. 
The smoke hole is a 3/16" and gives a perfect strong draw.
This custom pipe has been hand carved to a free form feminine shape that offers a sleek style look and comfort and as well revealing the manzanitas signature deep fiery red wood grain.
Manzanita is a tree that grows all around southern California and is so exotic it is protected by federal law and is illegal to cut it down without proper permission from either land owners or state and federal officials. 
Manzanita wood is also a very hard and dense wood so it holds the heat well and is a great wood for crafting long lasting pipes out of it.
The wood grain striations look as if it has swirls of flames in it making this piece a nice collection of an art pipe.
It has a smooth rounded back for a gentle and comfortable grip in both a left and right handed grip.
Within weathered cracks around the pipe has a high grade and beautiful bright blue turquoise and deep green malachite inlaid into it.
Because of this deep fiery red color of the wood the bright turquoise and malachite stand out well and add some beautiful character.
The stem tapers to a smooth comfortable tip perfect for smoking. 
Each piece finished with an eco friendly penetrating oil sealed permanently into the wood for a long and happy life.
Sits flat when set down.
